UCSD Women in Computing Event on May 13th
The UCSD Women in Computing's annual Girls' Day Out will be held on Saturday May 13th from 9:30AM to 2:30PM. The event is targeted towards high school female students interested in pursuing computer science or similar STEM-oriented fields. They will have the opportunity to hear professors and industry panelists present, and also learn some skills in a programming workshop.

**There is a waiver attached to the sign up link that the students must bring with them on the day of the event. It must be COMPLETED with all necessary signatures prior to the event.
Here is a tentative schedule for the event:
9:30 - 10:00 Check In/ Introductions
10:00 - 11:00 Guest Speakers
11:00 - 12:30 Programming workshop
12:30 - 1:00 Lunch
1:00 - 2:30 Industry Panel
2:30 - 3:00 Wrap-Up/Pickup
They will accept 50 girls on a first come first serve basis. If people can't make it once they are signed up it's very important to let them know so we can give the spot to someone else.
